What to Expect From Your First Personal Training Session in Battersea

Step 1: Free Consultation
Before we train, we have a free consultation — either in person or on the phone. I'll ask about:
Your goals (weight loss, strength, postnatal recovery, general fitness)
Any injuries or health conditions
Your exercise history
Your lifestyle and schedule

Step 2: Your First Session
On the day, here's what to expect:
Warm-up (5 mins): We start with mobility and activation exercises to prepare your body
Movement assessment: I'll watch how you squat, lunge, and move to identify any imbalances
Main workout (30–40 mins): A mix of exercises at YOUR level — I meet you where you are
Cool-down (5 mins): Stretching and a chat about how it went
What Should You Wear?
Comfortable gym clothes and trainers. If we're training in Battersea Park, dress for the weather. If at home, barefoot is fine for some exercises.
Will It Be Too Hard?
No. I scale everything to your level. Whether you haven't exercised in years or you're a regular gym-goer wanting more structure, the session is designed for you.
